Senior Justine Raterman led the Flyers with 16 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Cassie Sant added 11 points, junior Sam MacKay added 10 and senior Patrice Lalor had eight points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Dayton took the lead for good with 10:39 left in the second half when Lalor’s jumper at the shot clock buzzer gave the Flyers a 51-49 lead.
No. 21 Purdue 74, No. 24 Nebraska 70 (2 OTs): Playing against her hometown team, KK Houser scored 19 points and had five steals as fourth-seeded Purdue won the Big Ten tournament for the eighth time in 17 years.

No. 13 Michigan 71, Penn State 65: Michigan got help from — of all schools — football archrival Ohio State to claim a share of the Big Ten title for the first time since 1986.
Trey Burke scored 19 points and Evan Smotrycz added 17, but the Wolverines (23-8, 13-5) had to wait until the Buckeyes beat Michigan State later Sunday to secure part of the crown. The schools finished in a three-way tie for first.
The Nittany Lions couldn’t overcome Michigan’s hot shooting in the first half, which included making eight straight field goals during a 23-4 run. The Wolverines held Penn State without a field goal for nearly 10 minutes.
No. 14 Wisconsin 70, Illinois 56: Senior Jordan Taylor scored 16 points and Josh Gasser added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Badgers (23-8, 12-6 Big Ten).
It was the 265th victory at Wisconsin for coach Bo Ryan, tying Harold “Bud” Foster for most wins in the program’s history.
No. 18 Indiana 85, Purdue 74: Christian Watford scored 19 points and Will Sheehey added 16 to lead Indiana (24-7, 11-7 Big Ten), which finished the season with an 18-1 home record, five wins over ranked teams and three against clubs ranked in the top 5. Indiana also swept Purdue for the first time since 2005-06.
Purdue (20-11, 10-8) was trying to win its third straight in Bloomington for the first time since 1968-71.
No. 22 Florida State 80, Clemson 72: Michael Snaer scored a career-high 23 points to lead Florida State. K.J. McDaniels and Andre Young scored 16 points each for Clemson, which pulled within 75-72 with 30 seconds left. But Florida State made five of six free throws the final 28 seconds.
No. 24 Virginia 75, Maryland 72 (OT): Mike Scott had a career-high 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Sammy Zeglinski scored 20 points as Virginia overcame blowing a 12-point lead over the final 8 minutes of regulation.
No. 25 Creighton 83, Illinois State 79 (OT): A day after Illinois State beat a ranked opponent for the first time since 1987, the Redbirds just missed making it two Top 25 victims in two days.
Doug McDermott had 33 points and Antoine Young scored eight of his 14 in overtime as Creighton won the Missouri Valley Conference title, earning its first automatic bid to the NCAA tournament since 2007.
Firing: Rhode Island coach Jim Baron was fired after 11 years and a 7-24 season. The 57-year-old Baron finished his run with a 184-166 overall record and an 83-93 mark in the Atlantic 10 conference, including 4-12 this season. The Rams won 20 or more games six times during Baron’s tenure and played in the NIT five times.
