About Wright State

Wright State will break from its Horizon League schedule to participate in the BracketBusters event after a 71-55 loss Wednesday against Detroit. The Raiders are 1-4 in their last five games, which has dropped them into eighth place in the league. Mays continues to lead the team in scoring after collecting 16 points against Detroit. The Raiders shot 38.9 percent, continuing their offensive struggles that include a No. 327 (out of 338) national ranking in scoring offense, at 58 points per game. WSU also ranks No. 27 nationally in scoring defense, allowing 60.2 points per game.

About UMKC

The Kangaroos are 1-5 in their last six games, dropping them into a tie for eighth in the Summit League at 4-12. They are one of the country’s most prolific 3-point shooting teams, ranking 19th nationally in 3-pointers made per game (8.5) and 24th in percentage from long range (38.8). Chamberlain ranks eighth nationally in 3-point percentage (46.3), and he was 4-of-5 from long range in UMKC’s 47-42 loss against Western Illinois on Wednesday. He is also 29th nationally in free throw shooting (86.5). Korver, who also averages 4.1 rebounds, is the brother of Kyle Korver of the Chicago Bulls.
