Former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Smith arrested on DUI charge

Former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Troy Smith was arrested early Sunday and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to multiple reports.

The Columbus Dispatch reported Smith was pulled over at 2:30 a.m. Sunday and charged with OVI, possession of marijuana and improper display of a license plate.

Smith won the Heisman Trophy in 2006. He played in the NFL and in the Canadian Football League. He was cut by the Montreal Alouettes in October 2014.
