Freshman guard Jaylon Hall had 17 points off the bench to lead five players in double figures as Wright State cruised to a 98-68 win over Division-II Ohio Valley before 3,060 fans Tuesday at the Nutter Center.

Freshman center Louden Love scored 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds, while senior wing Grant Benzinger and junior wing Mark Hughes also had 16 points and freshman forward Everett Winchester 14.

The Scots (1-4) were down seven points within the first four minutes, and the Raiders (5-4) made it 24-12 after eight minutes on a Love power layup.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Ohio Valley made it 24-18 with 9:22 left. But Wright State out-scored the visitors, 23-12, the rest of the first half for a 47-30 lead at the break.

The Raiders made 19-of-25 field goals in the first half (76 percent) and finished 35-of-54 (64.8 percent).

Luka Djordjevic and Dylan Harrison had 12 points each to lead Ohio Valley, which went 2-24 last season and was picked last out of 12 teams in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference preseason poll.
