Cincinnati Reds raise more than $20,000 for Dayton area tornado victims

The Cincinnati Reds announced Tuesday the Reds Community Fund “Split the Pot” raffle held during the Reds-Indians games on June 11-12 yielded $21,208.

That money will go to The Dayton Foundation’s Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund established after storms devastated multiple parts of the Miami Valley.

According to the Reds, 100 percent of donations to the fund will be distributed to vetted nonprofit organizations that are helping others get back on their feet after catastrophic events, now and in the future.
