Also Friday, the Bengals placed linebacker Nick Vigil on season-ending Injured Reserve due to a back injury. Vigil missed the last three games with an ankle injury.

To fill Vigil’s spot on the 53-man roster, the Bengals promoted Kent Perkins from the practice squad. Perkins, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound rookie from Texas, signed as an undrafted college free agent in the spring and has been on the practice squad all season.
