Bengals sign veteran defensive lineman

The Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday announced the signing of veteran defensive lineman Mike Daniels.

Daniels spent seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers before joining the Detroit Lions for the 2019 season.

Daniels, 6-foot, 310 pounds, was named to the Pro Bowl in 2017. In 111 career games, he has 211 tackles and 30 sacks.

Daniels will add to a stout defensive line that includes D.J. Reader and Geno Atkins but was lacking some depth after Josh Tupou opted out of the season.
