Bengals rookie QB arrested for DUI

Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Logan Woodside was arrested for DUI on Saturday in Bellevue, Ky., according to police records.

“We are aware of the incident involving Logan Woodside and are gathering more information,” a Bengals spokesperson said.

According to the arrest report, an officer pulled over Woodside at 3:46 a.m. Saturday for going 10 miles per hour above the speed limit, and the officer determined Woodside was under the influence. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Woodside’s BAC was 0.112.

The Bengals drafted the 23-year-old Woodside in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.

The University of Toledo product was the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year and conference MVP last season. He holds the UT record for passing yards (10,514), touchdowns (93), passing efficiency (162.87) and 300-yard games (17).

Woodside was dressed and participating Tuesday as the Bengals kicked off their three-day minicamp.
