Bengals LB Burfict: ‘I don’t give no (expletive) about’ the Steelers

As far as the Bengals are concerned, the Steelers might as well be Fight Club.

As in, don’t talk about them.

That’s the takeaway from a Sports Illustrated story that quotes safety George Iloka saying, “We’re not talkin’ about the Steelers no more.”

Vontaze Burfict – whose personal foul in the final minute was part of a meltdown that cost the Bengals a playoff game against Pittsburgh in January and is a major reason the topic keeps coming up over and over again – was even more direct.

“I don’t give no (expletive that starts with ‘F’) about them,” Burfict said. “Zero. You can write that, too. I don’t give no (same expletive) about them. They’re just another team. They don’t scare me. Just another team.”

While fear doesn’t seem to be an issue, it’s hard to argue the teams don’t care about each other.

And that’s just the way we like it.
