The Dayton Dragons haven’t exactly jumped out of the gate to start the second half of the season but you couldn’t tell that on Saturday. Dayton scored seven runs in the second inning and went on to a 9-2 victory against South Bend.
Juan Silva and Sean Buckley each had a two-run homer in the second inning where the Dragons sent ten batters to the plate.
Starter Tanner Robles (5-5) allowed two runs over six innings as the Dragons improved to 2-7 in the second half.
