Background/Overview: The building was constructed to be an Italian restaurant in the 60s and functioned as such for 34 years until it closed. In 2007, the Reed/Ramsey family came in and completely cleaned and overhauled the abandoned property. Grandpa Bill still comes in most days to help keep the place tidy. As the renovations progressed, the family realized the inside took on the look and "feel" of an Irish pub.

Co-owners Joe and Tina Ramsey had already decided to name the eatery after Conner, the youngest of their two sons. When he was a small child they found themselves fondly and frequently saying, “Oh Conner” whenever the boy did something or other. So naturally, with the support of the other owner, Terry L. Reed Jr. (Tina’s brother), they titled their new restaurant to coincide with the look and “feel” of their son’s name. In July 2008, the business opened as O’Conners Irish Pub.

It has since become a popular restaurant plating Irish/American food for people of all ages and a complete pub list for adults. O’Conners Irish Pub motto is “…a place where there are no strangers, only friends you have yet to meet!”
