Ice cream chain adds some ‘strange things’ to its menu

It’s the Netflix hit of the summer, and it’s coming to your freezer.

Baskin-Robins Ice Cream Shops, including the Dayton-area location at 27 N. Springboro Pike, have collaborated with “Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Parlor,” the fictitious ice cream shop in the “Stranger Things” series.

A new line of flavors inspired by the show will be available through the end of July, according to a source at the Springboro Pike Baskin-Robbins.

The “U.S.S. Butterscotch” flavor is the star of the Stranger Things lineup, with butterscotch ice cream, butterscotch pieces and a toffee flavored ribbon. “It’s Steve’s favorite.”

The limited-time flavor is also available as a sundae and a pre-packed quart.

“Elevenade Freeze” is a refreshing frozen treat a part of the special menu.
