HUNTER, Bruce Warren

84, of Middletown, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2021. His final days were spent surrounded by loved ones. Bruce was born in Bellbrook, Ohio, on June 4, 1937, to Willis David and

Madeline Elizabeth Hunter. He later attended Waynesville High School. In 1959 he met the love of his life, Carole Jean Covey, in Waynesville, Ohio, and the two were married soon after. Bruce joined the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served his country stateside for 13 years. He began his career at Frigidaire in Moraine City and was later hired at General Motors' Norwood plant. He was then transferred to the GM plant in Moraine, Ohio, where he was promoted to management. In 1988 he was transferred to the GM Cadillac Plant at the Tech Center, in Warren, Michigan. Over the course of his employment, he was awarded for many innovative ideas, and in 2002, he retired from GM after a distinguished 30-year

career. In addition to his automotive career, he was a certified welder, plumber, and carpenter. Bruce was a man of faith and an active member of several churches, including Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed serving as usher and Sunday school teacher. When he wasn't working, serving, or making others laugh, he enjoyed whittling wooden figurines and drift fishing from his boat on windy days. Bruce is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carole Jean Hunter; his sister, Sharon Elizabeth King of Florida; his children, Donna Jean Evans, Gina Ann Sinclair, Chris Warren (Pamela) Hunter, Kevin David (Denise) Hunter of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Bruce was

preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Madeline Hunter, and his brother, Dr. Robert Hunter. The family will receive friends at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850
