WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE— After some patchy morning fog, it will be another warm and muggy day under partly cloudy skies, said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.
Temperatures will soar into the upper 80s with the heat index likely topping 90 degrees. A pop-up afternoon shower or storm is possible, but should remain quite isolated.
Storm chances will increase late tonight into Thursday with temperatures falling to only around 70 degrees.
One or two storms could be strong Thursday as a cold front swings across the Miami Valley.
Temperatures will cool a bit with lower humidity and clearing skies Friday into Saturday.
