Allergy sufferers: Beware of pollen count today

Early in the week, the tree pollen count was low, but warm and dry weather has allowed the count to spike, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

>> Gusty winds today, showers and storms through weekend

Pollen forecast:

  • Friday: Tree pollen will stay elevated because of warm and breezy conditions
  • Saturday & Sunday: Rain will likely drop the count by the end of the weekend.

Mold spores may climb this weekend due to wet weather expected.
