While warm, these temperatures fall short of the record for Oct. 9, which the NWS records say was 86 degrees, set in 1939.
In the evening the NWS forecast some clouds gathering, then continuing to build overnight as temperatures fall to around 61 degrees.
On Saturday, we will continue to see some clouds as temperatures again rise to around 80 degrees.
Clouds will build even more through the day and through Saturday night, leading up to a chance of showers beginning in the early hours of Sunday morning as the remnants of hurricane Delta move into the area.
