Fire alarm stops OSU men’s basketball game, evacuates Schottenstein Center

The Schottenstein Center was evacuated Saturday night during the Ohio State University men’s basketball game vs. Appalachian State.

Within a few minutes, fans were allowed back in and the game resumed in the second half with OSU in the lead.

Dan Wallenberg, the Ohio State Associate Athletics Director for Communications, said in a series of tweets that an exhaust fan malfunction led a fire alarm to sound in a concessions area.
