When police arrived, they found a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro parked in front of the address that appeared to have three bullet holes in the driver side of the vehicle as well as 12 9mm spend shell casings around the vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle told police she was in her living room when she heard the gunshots, the report stated. She said she then made her way to the front of the house and saw several bullet holes to her vehicle.
Officers also spoke with a neighbor who also said, “he heard the shots being fired and noticed a tan SUV leave the area heading towards Yellow Springs Street in a high rate of speed,” the report stated.
About 10 hours later around 1:15 p.m., officers responded to this address again after the vehicle owner found two bullet holes in a bedroom of the residence, the report stated. Police observed two bullet holes through the outside of the house, one through the dresser and one through the wall and into the closet. One bullet was also found on the floor inside the closet.
No other suspect or witness information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigation into this incident.
