Region’s first Wayfair outlet open select hours through December

The popular online furniture and decor retailer is scheduled to open early next year, with 2019 hours to be released at a later date, said Wayfair spokeswoman Julie Cassetina.

But for Friday and Saturday only through December, the store that sells discount furniture and decor will open for shoppers in the region to find gifts and holiday needs. The store will be open Dec. 21-22 and Dec. 28-29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 20,000 square-foot Wayfair Outlet at 5101 Renegade Way in Florence, Ky. is the only brick-and-mortar Wayfair store. Traditionally online retailers like Wayfair have been making plans to expand into brick-and-mortar.
