Protect those plants! Frosty night ahead

Freezing temperatures will likely bring widespread frost overnight to the Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the lower to middle 20s by sunrise. This is cold enough for sensitive outdoor plants to be damaged or killed.

These chilling temperatures have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a freeze warning across a large portion of the area.
