Freezing temperatures will likely bring widespread frost overnight to the Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the lower to middle 20s by sunrise. This is cold enough for sensitive outdoor plants to be damaged or killed.
These chilling temperatures have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a freeze warning across a large portion of the area.
Watch the video to see StormCenter 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs talk about why some of the area is not under a freeze warning and what precautions you should take to protect your plants.
