Patchy fog to start, then mostly cloudy, with small chance of isolated shower

We will start out today with some patchy fog, which is expected to clear out by about 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Skies will be mostly cloudy today and temperatures will be high, with highs of around 86 degrees. The NWS added that while it can’t rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm, we will mostly stay dry.

Tonight, we will still have cloudy skies as temperatures cool to around 67 degrees.

For Thursday, the NWS predicted that we should see some of those clouds break up for a partly sunny day, although we will see some more at night. Temperatures will be about the same as today, with a high of around 88 degrees, and a low of around 67 degrees.

On Friday, although we will start quietly, the NWS forecast a chance of showers in the late afternoon, falling slightly but not disappearing overnight. Temperatures are expected to nudge higher, with a high of around 89 degrees and a low of around 68 degrees.
