Yellow Springs company announces management changes

YELLOW SPRINGS — YSI Inc., which designs and sells software and instruments for environmental monitoring and testing, said it has hired a chief operating officer and made other changes in its management ranks.

Mark W. Matson was hired as chief operating officer and vice president-operations, to oversee operations, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, information technology and other functions, said Rick Omlor, the company’s president and chief executive officer. Matson joins YSI from the Rockford Corp.
