WATCH: Body cam catches Cincinnati police saving fawn

Cincinnati police officers rescued a fawn from a busy Cincinnati roadway, and it was all caught on the officer’s body camera.

Officers Roger Noe and Trish Yates were dispatched to to reports of a fawn running in traffic around noon Monday on Columbia parkway, according to our partners at WCPO.

The video shows the officer picking up the fawn and placing it in the back of the cruiser.

Noe took the fawn to the woods nearest to where it had jumped the wall onto Columbia Parkway in hopes it would reunite with its mother.

Fawns and other young animals should be left undisturbed in their environment, the police department is warning.
