In addition, the commission is selling trees to city residents to place in a right of way in front of their homes and businesses. Each tree is $75 and will be planted by city employees and volunteer crews in May.
Applications are due May 5 and are available online at www.urbanaohio.com, by calling (937) 652-4305 or sending an email to Doug Crabill at grants@ctcn.net.
Once planted, the tree will be the responsibility of the property owner.
