The new face of The CW might be from Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — Two Springfielders are in the running to be “the face” of Dayton’s CW station for the next year.

Brittany Pencil, a 2007 Northeastern High grad, and 27-year-old Josh Weston are among the 10 finalists in The CW Star Contest.

The winner will receive $20,000, and will act as the face of the station for a year.

Voting for the winner is open through Sunday at daytonscw.com.
