A suspect wanted after being indicted for an aggravated robbery charge is now in custody.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office officials said Jason Silvers was apprehended after being spotted leaving Walmart on East National Road in Springfield. He was in a vehicle driving nearby and taken into custody without incident.
Deputies said the robbery indictment stems from an incident in which Silvers is suspected of pulling a gun on a person who thought Silvers was there to sell a television. Silvers allegedly sought money from the victim.
A woman riding with Silvers after leaving Walmart has a suspended driver’s license and was unable to continue the trip. Two children were also with them, deputies said.
