1:30 p.m.: Clark County Triad, an organization for senior safety and well-being, will meet at United Senior Services, 125 W. Main St. Cheryl Wheeler of Goodwill Easter Seals of the Miami Valley will discuss how the Matter of Balance program, an award-winning, evidence-based program, can teach ways to avoid falls and reduce the fear of falling. Matter of Balance helps older adults become more flexible, stronger and have better balance so they can once again participate in activities they enjoy but that they might be avoiding.
The Senior Forum session held after the program provides an opportunity for local law enforcement to answer questions and provide information about current issues. Refreshments will be served. All members of the public are welcome.
