Springfield haunted attraction closes permanently

A Springfield haunted attraction announced on their Facebook page that they have closed permanently.

“We are permanently closed,” Horror Acres Haunted House posted on their Facebook page Sunday. “We have decided that last year was our final year.”

The haunted attraction included Horror Acres Haunted House and the Maze of Insanity Corn Maze, according to Horror Acres’ website.

“We would like to thank everyone that has supported us year after year,” the Facebook post said. “We have had a blast.”

Horror Acres was located at 6995 Springfield Jamestown Road.

The Springfield News-Sun has reached out to the haunted attraction for more information regarding the closing and is awaiting a response.
