A 1-month-old boy died in a hot car Tuesday in Zanesville.
The newborn was found in a car at an apartment complex, according to Kids And Cars Inc. It is unclear how the boy ended up in the vehicle.
This infant is the second Ohio child to die in a hot car this year. On July 14, a 6-month-old girl died in a hot car in Medina.
Since 1994, Ohio has had 21 hot car deaths, according to the organization. The boy is the 41st hot car death nationwide.
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department has not released a statement.
