Icy conditions reported on Springfield bridge cause several crashes

Icy conditions have been reported on the Spring Street overpass in Springfield and has caused multiple crashes including one involving a medic unit.

A Springfield Twp. medic was involved in the crash on the bridge around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to emergency scanner traffic. Initial reports indicate the bridge was icy and caused the crash.
