A support group for loved ones left behind after a suicide will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Clark County Combined Health District, 529 E. Home Road. Recycling center closed for holidays

The Clark County Recycling Center, 1602 W. Main St., will be closed Friday, Dec. 23; Monday, Dec. 26; and Monday, Jan. 2, for the Christmas and New Year’s Day Holidays. Specialty Recycling will be offered only in the morning hours of 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Dec. 22. The afternoon hours will not be offered.

Specialty recycling is normally offered every Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. for items such as latex paint, computers, TVs, other electronics, tires, appliances containing CFCs and fluorescent bulbs.

Natural Christmas trees may be recycled at the Center’s yard waste bin. Remove all decorations from the tree before placing it in the bin. Drop-off recycling is available Monday hrough Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on the dates noted.
