Bitter cold air arrives, chance for snow again Tuesday

Clouds will increase by late evening. It will be quite cold with temperatures falling into the teens and wind chills dropping to near zero, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Overnight: It will be mostly cloudy and cold with temperatures falling to near 10 degrees with wind chills from zero to minus 10.

Tuesday: Skies will be mostly cloudy. There is a slight chance for a few passing flurries or snow showers. Temperatures will only reach into the upper teens with wind chills hovering near zero to 5 degrees.

Wednesday: Skies will be partly cloudy with bitter temperatures topping out only in the middle teens after starting the day in the lower single digits.

Thursday: Expect lots of clouds with temperatures rebounding into the lower 20s.

Friday: Gusty winds will increase with a chance for snow showers. Highs will reach into the middle 20s.

Saturday: Another blast of arctic air arrives sending temperatures back into the upper teens for highs and wind chills near or below zero. There also is a chance for a few flurries or snow showers.
