A pickup truck somehow went off the roadway and drove up porch steps before it slammed into a duplex in Springfield.

There were two adults and three children inside when the pickup — with a driver and passenger inside — crashed into the residence around 6 p.m. Wednesday. No one in the truck or the duplex was hurt.

The family’s home, however, sustained extensive damage.
