Today we will start with a chance of showers and storms, with rain chances rising through the day, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Otherwise it will be partly sunny with a high near 82 degrees.

Tonight, we will continue to see a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms as temperatures fall to around 65 degrees.

Tomorrow, showers and storms are likely, especially as we head into the afternoon. Highs will be near 77 degrees, and we will have some gusty winds as fast as 20 mph. Showers are expected to drop off in the evening, and temperatures will drop to around 53 degrees.

After the storms, Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 71 degrees, and the weather is forecast to stay calm Saturday night, with partly cloudy skies and a low around 51 degrees.
