Ohio Means jobs to host hiring events for two local companies

Ohio Means Jobs Clark County will host hiring events for two separate companies looking to boost their workforce.

DCS Logistics, based in West Jefferson, is looking to hire forklift operators for several shifts, according to information from Ohio Means Jobs. That company’s pay is listed at $15.10 to $16.10 an hour for workers starting out. The company’s wage scale increases to $16.30 to $17.30 after one year at the company.

If hired, employees will work at a facility at 125 Enterprise Way in West Jefferson, according to information from Ohio Means Jobs. The hiring event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Ohio Means Jobs Clark County, 1345 Lagonda Ave. in Springfield.

Ohio Means Jobs Clark County will host a separate event for Rittal, based in Urbana, from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Lagonda Avenue site.

Rittal is looking for assembly operators, machine operators, warehouse associates and material handlers. Starting pay is listed at $13.40 per hour with openings on first, second and third shifts. Rittal is an Urbana manufacturing firm that produces computer racks and enclosures.
