Saturday, May 29 — The New Carlisle Pool is open for the summer starting at noon. Lots of activities are planned and our rates have dropped. Check out the pool flyer at our website at NewCarlisle.net.
On a more somber note, also on Saturday, May 29, is the 13th annual “Walk to Remember,” recognizing those who sacrificed their lives in service to our country.
Starting at noon at the Howard’s IGA Shopping Center, there will be a walk to the New Carlisle Cemetery for a memorial service to honor our loved ones. Everyone is welcome to join us but remember that no political signs are permitted in the walk.

Saturday, June 12 — Our annual spring cleanup is jointly sponsored by Bethel Twp., the City of New Carlisle, Impact Bethel and the Clark County Waste Management District.
This annual event invites our citizens to spruce up their homes and lets us help them dispose of their items.

Sunday, June 13 — Our 18th annual New Carlisle Chautauqua Summer in the Park season begins at 6:30 p.m. in Smith Park.
Dry Branch Fire Squad will be part of this concert series.
Loosely Strung is scheduled for June 27 and the Kettering Banjo Society is set for July 18.
The season wraps up with the New Carlisle Community Chorus as part of our Bicentennial Celebration on Aug. 1 with Letters from York. In case of inclement weather, all programs will be held in the New Carlisle Elementary School auditorium.
