You’ve heard it right: Today is National Taco Day. Let’s talk about where you can get tacos in Springfield.
Springfield’s favorite tacos:
Guerra’s Krazy Taco, 229 N. Belmont Ave., has a variety of tacos with ingredients ranging from jerk sauce on the Jerk chicken taco, candied ginger on the Asian Ginger chicken taco to the fresh pineapple on the Sweet Avocado vegetarian taco.
Taqueria Senor Piquin, 337 W. Columbia St., has a variety of meat options for their tacos including spicy pork, tongue, steak in chipotle or red sauce, grilled chicken, or tripe.
Victor’s Taco Shop, 1929 E. Main St., offers beef or chicken crispy tacos with a variety of soft tacos including fish or shrimp.
El Toro, 2100 S. Limestone St., 2017 N. Bechtle Ave., offers a three taco house special that includes your choice of grilled chicken, grilled steak, or pork carnitas.
Los Mariachis, 1815 E. Main St., offers combos with your choice of a seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken taco, enchilada, taquito, chile relleno, tostado, or pork tamale.

Taco Bell: $5 National Taco Day Gift Set includes two Crunchy Tacos and two Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos.
Chuy’s: Free entree of your choice if you dress like a taco or you can add a crispy beef taco to any entree for $1 (limit two per person).
