Overnight: It will stay warm and muggy through the overnight hours with a few clouds, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall to a low around 70 degrees.

Thursday: After a very warm and muggy start to the day, highs will soar to 90 degrees with the Heat Index in the mid-90s. More dry time during the day is expected with sunshine and scattered clouds. Isolated downpours or storms are possible late in the day.

Friday: A dry start to Friday the 13th is in store with another hot and humid afternoon. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s. A weak front will trigger some showers or storms toward the evening. Some Touchdown 7 games may be at risk for being delayed or postponed.

Saturday: A nice break from the high heat is expected for the weekend. Temperatures will still be a few degrees higher than normal, though in the low 80s. Clouds will break for some sun.

Sunday: A nice end to the weekend features some sun and it will still be warm with highs in the middle 80s.

Monday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid conditions start the workweek. Highs will be in the upper 80s, but it will feel like the lower 90s.
