Agencies offer to recycle electronics
Several local businesses and organizations are encouraging residents to drop off their old computers and accessories from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 14 in the Champaign County Community Center parking lot, 1512 S. U.S. 68 in Urbana.
Residents are asked to use the entrance on Ohio 55. Items accepted include computers, monitors, hard drives, printers, keyboards, speakers, televisions, cords and cables.
Donation receipts for tax purposes are available upon request. Residents with questions can visit www.gesmv.org. Businesses that have several computers to recycle may call Goodwill and schedule a time for them to be picked up.
Other agencies sponsoring the drop-off include the city of Urbana, Dell Reconnect, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and the North Central Ohio Solid Waste District. STAFF REPORT
