Local business recognized by lottery

A local business will be recognized on the Cash Explosion game show airing later this week.

According to information from the Ohio Lottery, Short Stop, 1411 Moorefield Road, carries 25 instant games and averages $5,716 in weekly sales for instant and online tickets.

The business, owned by Rob and Sharry Koons, also includes a Lottery play area where customers can get a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and play Lottery games.

The Ohio Lottery recognizes one retailer a week that offers quality service to customers. Residents can watch the Cash Explosion show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 on Fox or ABC.
