Police are investigating the shooting reported about 7:50 p.m.
According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, someone from a passing vehicle fired shots toward a house and the woman inside said her male friend was hit by the gunfire.
The suspect vehicle, a black Chevrolet Impala, was seen speeding away.
