Healthy Springfield: Springfield man lost 300 pounds

At 510 pounds, Todd Comer didn’t feel comfortable doing many things, like visiting an amusement park or zip lining.

In October 2013, Comer’s had bariatric surgery and began a diet and exercise program. Since then, he’s lost more than 300 pounds and completely changed his life.

“I just want other people to know that it is possible,” said Comer, 28.

Comer is one of many people in Springfield who made a change to combat obesity. Watch the video and read more of Comer’s weight loss journey in our monthly Healthy Springfield story in Sunday’s Springfield News-Sun.
