Greenon administrator one of 3 finalists for Graham superintendent

The school board for Graham Local Schools has selected their finalists to become the district’s next superintendent.

Among the finalists is Greenon Local Schools Superintendent Brad Silvus, according to Deb Campbell, search consultant for K12 Consulting, which is helping with the search.

The other two finalists from the eight semi-finalists are: Brooke Gessler, Director of Curriculum for Sidney City Schools and Scott Gephart, High School Principal for Spencerville Local Schools.

The second round of interviews will be held in executive session at a special meeting on Monday, May 11.

“It is the plan of the board to hire the new superintendent at a special board meeting on May 13,” Campbell said.

The board named Matt Curtis interim superintendent with plans to serve for this school year, after former superintendent, Kirk Koennecke, left in July to become the Indian Hill Exempted School District in the Cincinnati suburbs.
