Evening showers and storms are tapering off in the area, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.
Tonight will be cool again with temperatures already in the lower 60s.
Sunday, more scattered showers and thunderstorms expected. A few pop-ups are possible during the morning, but the best chance will be late morning into the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms should wind down through the evening. Looking dry in time for fireworks Sunday night. Still cooler than average in the afternoon with highs in the mid 70s.
Monday, more sunshine, but shower and storms will develop again. With the added sun, there is the potential for some stronger storms, but at this time the threat for severe weather is very low. Highs in the upper 70s.
Tuesday, partly sunny, a few shower or storms are possible at times in the afternoon and evening. Highs near 80.
