“I am honest, responsible and dedicated,” Griest said. “This community has been a great place to raise a family. I hope I will be able to continue to give back to the community by continuing to serve as your Fiscal Officer.”
Emory, an Advanced EMT and Firefighter for the township, challenged Griest for the seat.
She said she wanted to help leaders of various township departments explore new sources of revenue and work closely with the trustees to assure tax dollars are spent in the best interest of the community.

“Working as the secretary for the township, I have acquired a significant knowledge as to the operations of all township departments. This enables me to understand the specific needs of each area,” Emory said. “This in turn is helpful when looking at budgets and expenses.”
