Family identifies victim in fatal Mechanicsburg fire

Sadler, believed to be in her late 50s, died in the fire and a second person escaped with no injuries, according to the State Fire Marshal’s office.

The fire started in the back of the home, which is a total loss, the office said.

Crews from Mechanicsburg, Urbana, Union Twp., North Lewisburg, Pleasant Twp., Pleasant Valley, Allen Twp., and West Liberty all assisted at the fire.

The cause is still under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
