The fire is under investigation, but it appears to have started after heating oil ignited in the kitchen.
The home is occupied, but no one was injured. Family members will be staying with relatives.
Borders said the single-story home was a total loss. Firefighters were on the scene for about four hours. Several local departments provided mutual aid.
