Downtown Springfield retail store reopens through December

A downtown Springfield retail store and gift shop that closed earlier this year is open in a new location, but just for a few weeks.

Fair Trade Winds is open through the end of December in a new location at 117 S. Fountain Ave. until Dec. 31, according to the store’s Facebook page. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

The store offered a variety of gifts, including clothing, jewelry, kitchen utensils, photo frames and candles. The store, which was previously located at 36 N. Fountain Ave., closed earlier this year. The family-run business also has locations in Bar Harbor, Maine; Fairfax, VA.; Boulder, Co. and Seattle, Wa.
