Death investigated in German Twp.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating a Friday death that authorities said came after an altercation, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s department officials and German Twp. police responded to 3706 Snyder-Domer Road at 7:48 p.m. Friday, according to a news release. A 50-year-old man, later identified as Todd K. Griffith, who had reportedly been involved in an altercation was not breathing. Griffith was a resident at the Snyder-Domer address.

The German Twp. fire department later pronounced Griffith dead at the scene. Investigators questioned several people involved in the incident and are awaiting results from a Saturday autopsy to continue their investigation.

No further information was available from the sheriff’s office on Saturday.
