Dayton Shooting: Red Cross opens Service Center for those affected by mass shooting

The American Red Cross is opening a service and recovery center at their Dayton chapter to help those impacted by the Oregon District mass shooting.

Located at 370 W. First St., the space will serve as a recovery center starting today. It will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Red Cross will have health professionals, spiritual care volunteers, caseworkers and mental health professionals available to help support those struggling in the aftermath of the shooting.

Financial assistance will also be available for the families of the people who were injured and killed in the shooting.

Caseworkers will also be available to give referrals for additional community support.
